In fact, General Westmoreland has apologized to Vietnam Veterans when he cut and ran out of South Vietnam, Westmoreland said, " I behalf of the United States Armed, I apologize to the South Vietnamese Army veterans because we have abandoned you." On behalf of the United States Armed Forces, I would like to apologize to the veterans of the South Armed Forces for abandoning you guys." Therefore, Bright Quang has had the self-evident- truth by the written law of General Westmoreland. especially, while General Westmoreland was operating on the South Vietnam battlefields, he was recalled back to the US by President Johnson. So, General Westmoreland has testified before the US Congress when he said, " a war of both subversion and invasion, a war in which political and psychological factors are of consequence." And while a confident Westmoreland painted a favorable military picture, he twice emphasized a point that most likely made Johnson wince. " I do not see any end of the war in sight." Therefore, after the Westmoreland hearing, President Johnson has created his doctrine's " salesmanship campaign." Significantly, General Westmoreland was not only proud of the American General Heroism of WWII which is why he has apologized to us when he has abandoned us on the battlefield.
