Why did the US refuse to all elections in Vietnam?
According to Geneva Conference July 20, 1954, this international Agreement divided Vietnam into two parts in which is North Vietnam and South Vietnam after the invaded French was defeated by Dien Bien Phu battle.
This treaty agreement has approved by the International Agreement after two years have gone by, the Vietnamese people should be general election to what chose or so-called self determination of the Vietnamese people. However, the United States of America did not only destroy this international Agreement but also wished to build up the Vietnam War by proxy war of the America.
In condition, the contradict of the United States of America and France was secretly taken place in the Vietnam War when the United States of America wished to kick French out of the Vietnam battle. When the United States of America has been so much storage for the older weapons of the World War Two, the United States of America did need some good battlefields in order to consume. Therefore, the United States of America should take advantage to the conflict between communism and capitalism in Vietnam.
Especially, since Geneva Conference was temporarily divided by two parts, Ho Chi Minh was secretly had order to whole his soldiers in South Vietnam that they were freely raped the Southern girls in so-called marriage collective within some nights before the Northern soldiers must retreat to the North. For example, Nguyen Van Linh leader was the North when he was operating in the South.
